Fall is one of my favorite times of the year! Getting out of bed on a cold morning is my least favorite part, but this delicious pumpkin spice coffee creamer makes the morning extra cozy and enjoyable.
Full of warm spices, rich vanilla, fresh pumpkin flavor, and a daily dose of CBD oil, this recipe embodies all the fall elements.
This recipe is simple to make and is far better for you than store-bought coffee creamer. The ingredient list on those big brand coffee creamers is ugly, and I noticed pumpkin is not even listed on the so-called pumpkin spice creamer. Ditch the preservatives and treat yourself to a natural alternative that is far more delicious and rich. I like to infuse my creamer with a daily dose of Pure Hemp Botanicals CBD oil for balance and immune system support as the seasons shift. You can mix CBD oil into the whole batch or add the desired dose in each cup.
Cook time: 10 minutes
Variations:
For dairy-free/vegan use a rich creamy nut milk
For sugar-free use Stevia or other sweetener
What You Will Need:
2 Cups of half and half
¼ Cup of pumpkin purée
2 Tablespoons of natural maple syrup
2 Teaspoons of Pumpkin Pie Spice
½ Teaspoon of cinnamon or cook with a cinnamon stick
½ Teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 Full Dropper of Pure Hemp Botanicals 3,000mg CBD Oil Full Spectrum Tincture
Top off with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon *optional
Directions:
Place all ingredients except CBD oil in a small saucepan and whisk together over low heat.
Slowly warm creamer and stir consistently. Do not let the cream get too hot or simmer. This step takes less than 5 minutes.
When creamer is warm and well mixed, remove from heat and let the spices infuse for at least 10 minutes, or until it’s cooled down.
When creamer is cooled down, pour through a fine sieve.
At this point add the desired amount of CBD oil to the whole batch of creamer. I added 1 dropper full of 3,000mg CBD tincture/100mg of CBD.
Leave CBD out if you prefer to top off each cup with your daily desired dose.
