What is Pure Balance?

Pure Balance CBD formulas are made with our original pure hemp extract.

Pure Balance Tinctures are available in full spectrum or broad spectrum.

Pure Balance Gummies and Softgels are made with full spectrum CBD.

What is the difference between Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum?

The difference between Pure Balance Full Spectrum Hemp Extract and Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract is the variation of cannabinoids and trace amounts of THC in the formulation.

Full Spectrum CBD oil contains a full array of cannabinoids found in hemp with a maximum of 0.3% THC, which is the legally permitted limit according to the 2018 Farm Bill.

Broad Spectrum contains all the same beneficial cannabinoids in hemp without detectable levels of THC*

What does it mean for CBD oil to have non-detectable levels of THC??

Our Broad Spectrum CBD oil goes through a rigorous process to remove trace amounts of THC from the hemp extract. When our final product goes through third-party testing, the lab results do not detect THC in the hemp extract.

Can you still experience the entourage effect with Broad Spectrum?

You can experience all the benefits of hemp such as the entourage effect from the synergy of cannabinoids and terpenes working together in both Broad Spectrum and Full Spectrum CBD products.

Can Broad Spectrum CBD show up in a drug test?

It is highly unlikely that Broad Spectrum CBD oil would trigger a positive result in a drug screen. However, if taken in high amounts some drug screens may be falsely triggered by other cannabinoids in Broad Spectrum CBD oil. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned about taking CBD.

Will I feel any psychoactive effect from Broad Spectrum CBD?

Pure Hemp Botanicals Broad Spectrum hemp extracts go through rigorous extraction and testing processes ensuring there are no detectable levels of THC in the end product. Since THC is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in hemp, it is highly unlikely you would experience any psychoactive effects from consuming Broad Spectrum CBD. However minor cannabinoids such as CBN have been linked to psychoactive effects when taken in extremely large doses.

What is in Pure Sleep Tincture?

Pure Sleep Tincture is crafted with our original full spectrum CBD oil with added CBN Isolate for its sleepy, sedative effects. Our CBD and CBN blend is paired with melatonin and tranquility terpenes for supporting sleeplessness and improving quality of sleep.

What is CBN?

CBN is a naturally occurring cannabinoid in hemp. Sometimes called “the sleepy cannabinoid, CBN has sedative effects and is powerful in small amounts for improving sleep quality. Like CBD, CBN does not produce a “high,” and it is not considered a psychoactive compound. It does however interact with the CB1 receptors in the brain in a similar way THC does. This is why it has very relaxing sedative effects on the body.

What is Melatonin?

Melatonin is a natural hormone our body produces that regulates our sleep and wake cycles.

Darkness causes the body to produce more melatonin, which signals the body to prepare for sleep. Light decreases melatonin production and signals the body to prepare for being awake.

Some people who experience sleep issues may be experiencing insufficient levels of melatonin.
In this case, supplementing 1- 3mg of melatonin may support sleeplessness and help you reset your sleep and wake cycles. Do not drive or operate machinery for at least 5 hours after taking melatonin.

What are Tranquility Terpenes?

Terpenes are organic compounds responsible for the aroma and flavor profile of a plant. Pure Sleep tranquility terpenes are a scientifically formulated blend of terpenes that deliver calming relaxing effects. This blend includes: Beta-Caryophyllene, d-Limonene, Linalool, Nerolidol, and Myrcene.

What are the side effects of Melatonin?

Always consult with your doctor before using any dietary supplement. Individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant should always consult their doctor before taking. This product is not intended for use in individuals under the age of 21. Watch for side effects. Some individuals may experience headaches, dizziness, and nausea. Do not drive or operate machinery for at least 8 hours after taking melatonin. Do not drink alcohol when using this product. If melatonin is causing any side effects or not working as intended, stop taking it and talk to your doctor.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Will Melatonin interact with any medications?

This product may interact with medications, such as blood thinners, blood pressure medications, and antidepressants. Consult with your doctor before taking melatonin if you are on any medications.

Will Melatonin make you groggy the next day?

If you take too much melatonin, you may experience grogginess the next day. It is recommended to not exceed 4mg of melatonin in one serving. Some people are more sensitive to the effects of melatonin and may feel groggy the next day. In this case, lowering the dose may help. Do not drive or operate machinery for at least 5 hours after taking melatonin.

How much Pure Sleep Should Tincture should I take?

Start off with one serving of Pure Sleep. Our Pure Sleep tincture is an excellent choice for customizing dose size for sensitive individuals. It is not recommended to exceed 4mg of melatonin in one serving. If Pure Sleep is not helping your sleep issues, talk to your doctor.

What is Pure Immune?

Pure Immune Products from Pure Hemp Botanicals contain 4 immune-boosting ingredients to strengthen and protect you from harmful invaders by feeding your immune system essential nutrients for optimal function.

What is Broad Spectrum CBD?

Broad spectrum hemp extract contains a wide array of beneficial plant compounds without detectable levels of THC. The cannabinoids in broad spectrum hemp extract work with the body’s endocannabinoid system receptors, which control the smooth functioning of the immune system and many other bodily systems. In this way, CBD helps restore wellness and fortifies your immune system so it can carry on the fight against invaders.

What are the Benefits of Broad Spectrum CBD?

A daily serving of broad spectrum CBD provides diverse benefits to help you feel your best every day. When we’re sick, our joints can ache, we can have trouble sleeping, and our bodies feel out of balance. Cannabinoids provide comfort and ease for symptoms experienced during illness, providing relief and supporting balance and regeneration.

What are the Benefits of Vitamin C?

Vitamin C is necessary not only when you are sick, but as a daily necessity. Our bodies can’t make Vitamin C on their own or store it, so we need to consume it every day through food or supplements. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps protect your cells against the effects of free radicals. It contributes to immune defense by supporting various cellular functions of both the innate and adaptive immune system.

What are the Benefits of Zinc?

Zinc is found throughout the body and is a necessary element for healthy growth. The body doesn’t store excess zinc, so it must be obtained from diet or supplementation. Zinc plays a key role in the growth of cells, building proteins, healing damaged tissue, and supporting a healthy immune system.

What are the Benefits of Elderberry?

Elderberry supplies antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals to your body, neutralizing the activity of infectious invaders and reducing the harm done to your immune cells. Studies have shown elderberry improves cold and flu systems, bolstering the immune system and defending against damage caused by harmful invaders.

How Many Immune Gummies Can I Take Daily?

Suggested Use: Take 2 Pure Immune Gummies Daily.

Two gummies contain 50 mg of CBD, 7.5 mg of Zinc, 90 mg of Vitamin C, and Elderberry extract.

You can take more Pure Immune Gummies if you would like a higher dose of CBD and Vitamins. However, The National Institutes of Health considers 2,000 mg of Vitamin C and 40 mg of zinc a day to be the maximum daily intake for adults.

Why is the Texture and Surface Appearance of Pure Immune Gummies Different Than PHB’s Other Gummies?

Pure Immune gummies are a bit stickier than other PHB gummies. This is because the Vitamin C in the formulation can cause gummies to “sweat.” These gummies are fine to ingest, they just look and feel different. We are working on an improved coating for our next batch. If you or your customers don’t like them, we stand behind our 100% satisfaction guarantee. We’d be happy to swap them out for a different product, or give you your money back, just reach out to us.

What is Delta-9?

Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, also known as “THC,” or just “D9 and ∆9,” is a naturally-occurring cannabinoid in hemp and cannabis that gives the consumer a “high” effect.

Is Delta-9 THC Legal?

Pure Hemp Botanicals Delta-9 products are compliant with the Federal 2018 Farm Bill and are 100% derived from hemp plants which contain no more than 0.3% ∆9THC by dry weight.  Because many states have specific rules surrounding many cannabinoids and these change rapidly, we do not guarantee that our products are legal in your state or territory. It is up to you to determine that. Our Delta-9 THC products are not for use by or sale to people under the age of 21.

Where does Delta-9 come from?

Delta-9 THC is found naturally in hemp and cannabis varieties, just like CBD. Most hemp varieties grown in the USA contain much more CBD than THC. That’s why the ratio of CBD is higher compared to the D9 in our products.

How Does Delta-9 THC compare to CBD?

Delta-9 THC is the psychoactive compound with strong euphoric, cerebral effects. CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid in hemp that is more subtle, delivering wellness benefits without any psychotropic effects. D9 products have stronger effects compared to CBD, and should be taken safely and responsibly.

How Does ∆9THC work?

Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol is a cannabinoid, so it binds to endocannabinoid receptors located throughout your body to promote balance and restore wellness to many bodily systems. D9 specifically favors your CB1 receptors which are densely located in the brain and correlate with how a person feels, moves, and reacts.

Will Delta-9 get me High?

Delta-9 hemp-derived THC will likely cause the consumer to feel “high” with potent euphoric effects that are more desirable to those seeking an elevated experience.

How Much D9 THC Can I Take?

A major factor in safe and responsible THC use is the amount you consume. Hemp delta-9 is very strong and can cause adverse effects if you overdo it, so moderation is important. To ensure you have the best experience, start with a half serving and wait a few hours before taking more. There is a general rule of thumb to maximize benefits and minimize risks: “Start low, go slow.”

Will Delta-9 THC show up in a drug test?

Yes. The THC molecule found in hemp and cannabis are the same and will show up on a drug test. Although Pure Hemp Botanicals D9 comes from hemp and is always under 0.3% by dry weight, a drug test can still detect the metabolites when processed by our bodies, potentially yielding a positive drug test result.

What are the side effects of Delta-9?

Some people may experience temporary dry mouth, red eyes, sleepiness, increased appetite or nervousness after consuming Delta-9. Low doses of D9 are generally more mild, so start with a small amount to avoid unpleasant effects.

Where Can I Get Delta-9 products?

Pure Hemp Botanicals is proud to offer you ∆9 THC products sold here online, held to the same high standards we use for all of our products. Check your state laws before purchasing.

What are Plant Based Cannabinoids?

Plant Based Cannabinoids is a term referring to any phytocannabinoid in the hemp plant. For example, CBD, CBN, CBG, and THC are just a few of the plant based cannabinoids found in hemp. All of the phytocannabinoids in hemp contain significant benefits.

What are cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are the primary chemical compounds produced by the cannabis and hemp plant.

What are the benefits of cannabinoids?

In nature, cannabinoids work best together to promote overall wellness and all aspects of health. Our endocannabinoid system, with its complex actions affecting our immune system, nervous system, and all of the body’s organs, is the ultimate bridge between body and mind. Different blends of cannabinoids and other natural hemp compounds like terpenes, when used together, better support various health conditions, while improving overall wellness and balance.

Is CBD legal in my State?

States have their own laws and regulations regarding Hemp and CBD. We recommend that you check your state laws prior to purchasing.

Can CBD products be used with my prescription medications?

You should always consult with a medical professional before using CBD products. Discontinue use if you notice side effects.

Can I fail a drug test with the use of PHB Products?

Our products are manufactured using hemp extract, defined by the Colorado Department of Agriculture as “a plant of the genus Cannabis and any part of the plant, whether growing or not, containing a THC concentration of no more than three-tenths of one percent (0.3%) on a dry weight basis.”
In simple terms, all our Full Spectrum products may contain up to 0.3% THC. The THC amount will vary depending on the product’s suggested dosage, therefore, there is a possibility that consumption of the product could possibly trigger a positive test. Many drug screens test for the psychoactive compound of cannabis. If you have any concerns, please consult with a medical professional prior to purchasing our products.

Do I need a doctor’s prescription or medical marijuana card to purchase your products?

No, our products are classified as hemp, so you are not required to have a prescription or medical marijuana card to purchase at this time.

What is CBD distillate and isolate?

Distillate is a full spectrum, highly refined extracted oil that can be refined further. Full spectrum CBD means that the product can contain both trace amounts of psychoactive cannabinoids such as THC and non-psychoactive Cannabinoids.
A cannabinoid Isolate is the most highly refined and purified hemp extract that singles out one cannabinoid alone. Raw Isolate is typically white in a crystal or grainy crystal form.

How do I know how much to take or which strength to buy?

There is not a standard dosage amount for CBD products. Everyone metabolizes CBD differently, so we recommend that you start out low and adjust accordingly.
Please refer to this chart to help give you an idea of what concentration you may need. If you’d like to speak with us regarding your unique situation, please contact our Customer Service Team at customerservice@purehempbotanicals.com / 1-844-443-6764. Please keep in mind that our customer service representatives are not medical professionals.

What are your extraction methods?

We use Non-GMO ethanol to extract our Colorado Grown Hemp. We also utilize post-processing methods such as winterization and distillation.

How do I know how much CBD I am getting in my products?

We clearly define all our products by the amount of CBD in the total product. For example, a 300mg CBD tincture contains 300mg of CBD total measuring out to 10mg of CBD per serving.

Are your products non-psychoactive?

PHB products are manufactured with industrial hemp. All PHB products contain less than 0.3% THC on a dry weight basis, consistent with the definition of industrial hemp under section 7606 of the Farm Bill Act of 2014 and 2018 Farm Bill Act.
Our products are manufactured using hemp extract, defined by the Colorado Department of Agriculture as “a plant of the genus Cannabis and any part of the plant, whether growing or not, containing no more than three-tenths of one percent (0.3%) THC on a dry weight basis.” In simple terms, all our products may contain up to 0.3% THC. The THC amount will vary depending on product’s suggested dosage.

How can I see the Lab Results for the product that I own?

We provide a Certificates of Analysis (CoA), the lab results, for all our products and upload them for everyone to see.
Each product will have its own identifying batch number which is used to pull up the lab results for the specified item. You can also view lab results by typing in keywords such as “tincture”.
If you can’t locate a specific CoA, please reach out to our Customer Service team at customerservice@purehempbotanicals.com or 1-844-443-6764.
You can view them here: https://purehempbotanicals.com/lab-results/

What is different about this new CoA format?

It is important to have a comprehensive CoA that includes all the analyses which may be performed on any of our products. The previous CoA format only showed cannabinoid content. The new and improved CoA format shows not only potency, but many other testing results which are indicative of product quality. We have one of the most comprehensive CoA’s in the hemp and CBD market and are happy to share all testing results for EVERY batch with our consumers.

Why do some of the analyses say “S.L.” on my CoA?

S.L. means “Skip Lot” and is defined as a lab analysis was not scheduled for qualification testing or identified by our protocol for testing. You will ALWAYS see CBD potency and THC potency on the CoA, along with all physical characteristics. If you would like to see the breakdown of other cannabinoids present, please see page 2 of the CoA, which is the previous CoA format.

What does “third party tested” really mean?

Third party testing is a common term used to communicate that external laboratories are utilized to provide independent test results. This offers a level of assurance that testing results are not biased. Additionally, when third party laboratories are used, many companies can compare testing results to further develop testing methods for their products. For industries which are in their infancy, like the hemp and CBD industry, this is important to establish reliable testing methods, and also to verify product quality. PHB uses ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratories to report results on every CoA.

Are any pesticides used on the plant matter used to manufacture the products?

Our hemp is organically grown and uses only substances certified for use in organic farming.

How can I see what ingredients are used in the products?

To view the ingredients used in our products, please click on the desired product’s detail page and view the “Product Description” and “Additional Information” section. They are also directly displayed on the product label.

What is in a softgel?

Softgels are fully enclosed vegan gel caps that are smoothly contoured and easy to swallow. Our softgels are made from a carrageenan-based gel derived from red seaweed, and are filled with full spectrum CBD hemp extract and coconut oil as the extract carrier.

How should I store my products?

To maximize the shelf life of your product please store in a cool, dry place. You can also store our products at room temperature or chilled in the refrigerator.

Hemp and Marijuana are not created equal.

There’s a lot of confusion on the difference between hemp and marijuana since the plants look identical. Though they are both varieties of cannabis, they are not the same. Hemp belongs to the species Cannabis sativa L and it contains 0.3% or less of THC. In contrast, marijuana plants contain 5% to 20% of THC, the regulated psychoactive cannabinoid. Another difference is that hemp plants usually contain significantly more non psychoactive cannabinoids.

You cannot get high from smoking or consuming hemp.

Hemp does not contain enough THC to produce any psychoactive effects. Our hemp products contain up to 0.3% THC. There is a possibility that the consumption of hemp products containing trace amounts of psychoactive cannabinoids could make a hemp naive or sensitive individual feel some psychoactive effects.

Buying hemp products is not legal in every U.S. state.

Some states have banned certain types of hemp and CBD products, while other states have banned hemp growth and products completely. Check your states regulations before considering a purchase. Even though cannabis and hemp are two different plants, the federal government considers all cannabis plants a Schedule 1 Substance. However, the 2014 Farm Bill and the 2018 Farm Bill allows the cultivation and sale of hemp containing less than 0.3% THC, which includes hemp oil made from industrial hemp and our Pure Hemp Botanicals products. The FDA’s recent approval of products containing CBD shows strong support for the future of hemp products in the United States.

Cannabinoids are found in hemp

Hemp contains at least 85 chemicals called cannabinoids. Cannabinoids are a class of diverse chemical compounds that act on cannabinoid receptors in cells that repress neurotransmitter release in the brain. Plant Based Cannabinoids such as CBD and CBN are an active ingredient in our hemp extract and many other hemp health products.

Hemp can be used to make more than 25,000 different kinds of environmentally friendly products from health foods and beauty products to paper supplies and even building materials.

In 1938, the magazine Popular Mechanics called hemp the “New Billion Dollar Crop” because researchers had discovered that hemp could be used to manufacture over 25,000 different kinds of products “from cellophane to dynamite.” With our technological advances today we are constantly discovering even more ways to use this incredibly versatile plant.

Consuming hemp can be great for your health.

Hemp seeds and hemp oil contain magnesium, iron, and vitamin E along with the healthy fats omega-3 and omega-6. (If you want the full skinny on hemp nutritional value, check it out on Self Nutrition Data). Hemp is also a complete protein which makes it a great plant-based protein source for vegans and vegetarians. Many people enjoy eating hemp seeds in salads, yogurt, cereals, granola and smoothies. Though hemp oil should not be used for high-heat cooking, it can be used in the kitchen too. (It makes a great salad dressing!) You can also find delicious substitute dairy products made from hemp and hemp protein powders.

Clinical and scientific researchers have discovered that the herbal extract of Plant Based Cannabinoids are useful for a healthful body and sense of well-being.

Hemp has been used therapeutically for thousands of years, but the scientific community has only begun to extensively research it over the last few decades. Through their research, they have learned that CBD and other cannabinoids are the compounds in hemp responsible for its optimal whole-body benefits. CBD formulas are thought to have noticeable balanced mood and occasional soreness support without the psychoactive effect (high) of THC.

Hemp farming and production are great for the environment.

There are few crops that are as environmentally friendly as hemp. According to Canada’s Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food, hemp matures in just 3 to 4 months and absorbs carbon dioxide 5 times more efficiently than trees. Unlike cotton which requires lots of water and heavy use of chemical fertilizers and toxic pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides; hemp can be grown organically without the use of chemicals or toxins and without the need for excessive water. It is also great for the environment because it returns nitrogen and nutrients to soil. Hemp’s long roots actually aerate soil and can help to prevent both soil erosion and mudslides. Another benefit for farmers is that it can thrive in almost any climate and any type of soil. It is no wonder that the L.A. Times’ tip to American farmers is to grow hemp. Pure Hemp Botanicals cares about our environment. We support regenerative farming practices through safe agricultural practices and never use harmful pesticides or herbicides.

About our softgels.

The softgels are fully enclosed gel caps that contain our Pure Hemp CBD and coconut oil as the extract carrier. Our Pure Balance CBD and Pure Sleep CBN softgels are smoothly contoured and easy to swallow. The softgels cannot leak. The softgels are 100% vegan, from the casing to the fill.

How long does it take for the softgels to take effect?

The softgels and capsules are taken orally, and as such it may take longer to feel the desired effects since the Cannabinoids must travel through the digestive tract before being absorbed in the small intestine. The body has to break down the shell and then absorb the oil which usually takes 30-45 min to take effect.

What is a carrier fluid?

Pure Hemp Botanicals uses only Non-GMO carrier fluids in our tincture and softgel products. Cannabinoids are fat soluble, meaning, the cannabinoid breaks down and stores in body fat. Because of this trait, CBD is most effective when infused with an oil so the human body can absorb and metabolize it efficiently. The Plant Based Cannabinoids will attach itself to the molecular compounds in the oil, at which point they can be absorbed into the body to maximize Plant Based Cannabinoid content.

How do you use Hemp Extract Tincture?

The most common way to consume the tincture is under the tongue. This is when oil is situated or applied under the tongue to provide a direct absorption method to the bloodstream through the mucous membranes under the tongue. This often results in quicker effects, and is also believed to have a minimal loss of CBD since it eliminates the digestive tract. You can also consume the oil orally, apply it topically, or mix it with food and beverages.

What is the difference between Broad Spectrum Tincture & Full Spectrum Tincture?

Our Broad Spectrum CBD Tincture products are manufactured with purified CBD extract that features non-detectable levels of psychoactive cannabinoids, meaning that THC is minimalized in our manufacturing process. Our Full Spectrum tinctures contain a full array of cannabinoids along with the permitted trace amount of THC, balanced with the “entourage effect” for optimal efficiency. All of our full spectrum tinctures contain less than 0.3% THC.

Is there a difference between formulas for human tinctures and pet tinctures?

There is no difference in formulation for our human tinctures & our pet tinctures. The only difference between the animal and human tinctures are the labels. We use the same ingredients in both types of products. “Pet Tincture” is mostly used to inform our customers that the tincture can indeed be safely used for their pets.

What is a carrier fluid?

Pure Hemp Botanicals uses only Non-GMO carrier fluids in our tincture and softgel products. CBD is fat soluble, meaning, the cannabinoid breaks down and stores in body fat. Because of this trait, cannabinoids, are most effective when infused with an oil so the human body can absorb and metabolize it efficiently. The CBD will attach to the molecular compounds in the oil, at which point they can be absorbed into the body to maximize the cannabinoid content.

Why are your tinctures nearly flavorless & colorless?

Our company is vegan, so anything we use, from growing the plants, to extracting the oil, to manufacturing, must fall along those guidelines. Our CBD hemp oil is richly refined to avoid leaving a bad aftertaste. Our tinctures are formulated with organic and refined hemp seed oil, so any taste will come from these ingredients. The end product is a nearly flavorless, colorless oil for light and easy consumption.

Why is there Hemp Seed Oil in the tincture formula?

Organic hemp seed oil acts as a carrier fluid. CBD and other cannabinoids are fat soluble and need a fat source to extract and maximize the cannabinoid content.
