Awaken your senses with these relaxing fall rituals.
Take in all the beauty this season has to offer with some of our favorite recipes and rituals to awaken the five senses: sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch.
Rainy days, colorful leaves, fuzzy socks, hot chai tea, these are a few of my favorite things. Refresh and invigorate yourself with these sensory experiences to celebrate this short, sweet season.
Sight
Take a slow scenic walk in your favorite park, fully absorb the moment to appreciate the changing colors and falling leaves. Find inspiration in the colors and the changes nature is going through as the weather gets cooler. Make some changes in your personal environment to invite the beauty of fall inside. Add some autumn color splashes, soft blankets, and candles to create a cozy, inviting atmosphere.
Sound
Enjoy the sounds of fall with a relaxing rain soundtrack. Put on a pair of headphones and an eye pillow. Lay back, and immerse yourself in your favorite nature soundscape when you need to rest and refresh yourself. Sound meditation is a great way to soothe your nervous system and boost your mood.
Smell
Bring all the flavors of fall to life and awaken your sense with this fall-inspired stovetop potpourri. Make your home smell delicious without the hassle of baking up an apple pie.
