SECTION 1

FOR THE LOVE OF HEMP!

Hemp 101 For The Love

Hemp, a memeber of the cannabaceae family has gained popularity for its wellness benefits.

Hemp has been used therapeutically for thousands of years, but the scientific community has only begun to extensively research it over the last few decades. Through their research, they have learned that hemp based cannabinoids are the compounds in hemp responsible for its optimal whole-body benefits. Hemp is mostly used for its healing properties and is well known as a progressive wellness supplement because of its compounds that support your health and wellbeing.

SECTION 2

HEMP VERSATILITY.

Hemp Versatility

Hemp can be harvested and made into numerous products, the most valuable and sought after use being CBD extracts.

However, hemp is so versatile it can be used to make more than 25,000 different kinds of environmentally friendly products from health foods and beauty products to paper supplies and even building materials! In 1938, the magazine Popular Mechanics called hemp the “New Billion Dollar Crop” because researchers had discovered that hemp could be used to manufacture over 25,000 different kinds of products “from cellophane to dynamite.” With our technological advances today we are constantly discovering even more ways to use this incredibly versatile plant.

SECTION 3

HEMP & MARIJUANA ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL.

The hemp plant looks identical to marijuana, but the plant contains a different chemical makeup.

Industrial hemp belongs to the species Cannabis sativa L which contains 0.3% or less of psychoactive constituents. In contrast other cannabis plants such as marijuana may contain up to 20% THC, the psychoactive compound that gets you high.

SECTION 4

YOU WON’T GET HIGH FROM CONSUMING HEMP.

Won't Get High

Industrial hemp is the plant that produces most CBD products and all Pure Hemp Botanicals hemp extracts and contains significantly more non psychoactive plant based cannabinoids than the cannabis plant maijuana.

Hemp generally does not contain enough psychoactive cannabinoids to produce any psychoactive effects making it a popular natural wellness solution..

Our hemp products contain less than 0.3% psychoactive cannabinoids, compliant with federal hemp laws. There is a possibility that the consumption of hemp products containing trace amounts of psychoactive cannabinoids could make a hemp naive or sensitive individual feel some psychoactive effects.

SECTION 6

HEMP FARMING IS GREAT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT.

Hemp Good For The Environment

There are few crops that are as environmentally friendly as hemp.

According to Canada’s Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food, hemp matures in just 3 to 4 months and absorbs carbon dioxide 5 times more efficiently than trees. Unlike cotton which requires lots of water and heavy use of chemical fertilizers and toxic pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides; hemp can be grown organically without the use of chemicals or toxins and without the need for excessive water. It is also great for the environment because it returns nitrogen and nutrients to soil. Hemp’s long roots actually aerate soil and can help to prevent both soil erosion and mudslides. Another benefit for farmers is that it can thrive in almost any climate and any type of soil. It is no wonder that the L.A. Times’ tip to American farmers is to grow hemp. Pure Hemp Botanicals cares about our environment. We support regenerative farming practices through safe agricultural practices and never use harmful pesticides or herbicides.
