This is the year of wellness here at PHB and self-care is such a huge part that gets overlooked by pretty much all of us. It’s easy to forget to take care of yourself with so much going on in our lives so I’m going to try to make it easy for you! I spent the week testing out recipes and products until I found some really simple, easy to make and use recipes that consist of things most of us have on hand at home!

CBD Face Mask

I went through and found quite a few different recipes before putting my own together. I wanted something that was moisturizing but also made me feel clean and fresh afterward! Also, I found that using a blender or a food processor helped to get everything mixed together and nice and smooth! If you’re missing any of the ingredients don’t worry, just omit it! That’s the great thing about natural masks, it won’t make or break it if your missing something!

Ingredients

Instruction

Mix the oats and flax seed with the hot water and let them soak

After 3-4 minutes dump the oat/flax seed mixture into a blender and add the rest of the ingredients. Blend until smooth. If you need more liquid you can either add more warm water OR melt some coconut oil and add it in.

Spread over face and leave for 10-15 minutes or at least until it’s full dried(If you used coconut oil it may not actually feel “dry”)

Rinse!

*I refrigerated the leftovers and used it a few more times over the week . I just used the two dish method to warm it up a bit, kind of like heating up a baby bottle! Put some HOT water in a dish, then place a teaspoon or two of the mask in another separate dish that fits inside the first. Leave the mask in the hot water for a minute or two and then you’re good to go! You don’t want to microwave it, that will overheat the CBD.*

CBD Body Scrub

A scrub is SO easy to make and you can sub in or swap out different things to suit your person taste!

Ingredients

  • 2 droppers of your choice of Pure Hemp Botanicals Tincture of your choice.
  • 1 cup Sugar *You can use normal sugar or purchase the Raw sugar with larger grains for more exfoliation.*`
  • 1/3 cup Coconut Oil
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 10 drops of the essential oil of your choice (I used lavender)

*Optional Additions: Coffee Grounds, Flax seed, Sea Salt, Almond Oil, Citrus Zest. I don’t recommend using citrus juice itself because it can be rather harsh on your skin.)*

Instruction

Start by melting the coconut oil in your microwave. Stop and mix it every 15-20 seconds until it’s fully melted.

Add in the olive oil next and stir.

Mix in the sugar .

Once the sugar is fully mixed in add your CBD tincture and 10 drops of essential oil and mix.

*I store mine in a mason jar in my shower. If it starts dry out at all just add some more coconut or olive oil and mix well.*
