Today we are making homemade pupsicle CBD dog treats! If you have never heard of them, they are exactly what the name implies; a frozen popsicle for your dog.
Pupsicle dog treats are a breeze to make and your pet will love cooling down and chilling out with one of these, especially on a hot day! Below are two recipes; one with chicken and one with peanut butter. We are adding Pure Hemp Botanicals Pet CBD oil to our batch of pupsicles for the calming and comforting support cannabinoids can provide for your pet’s wellness.
I love that these treats take awhile for my dog to eat. Most treats he will swallow whole, so these pupsicles make him slow down and savor the flavors! Pupsicles are a delicious reward when your dog deserves some cheer or relaxation after a walk or to cool down on hot days.
Pure Hemp Botanicals Pet CBD oil has many great wellness benefits that support your dog’s quality of life. These pupsicles can help your dog with mobility support, joint comfort, injury recovery, and support a calm mood if they experience stress or nervousness from time to time.
Adding CBD oil to a dog treat is an easy way to give your dog a serving of Pet CBD oil without any hassle. Cooling and calming your dog will enjoy the taste and experience of these CBD dog treats and you will love how quick and easy they are to make! Here are two recipes to choose from.
Prep time:
10 Minutes
What You Need:
Recipe 1 Chicken Pupsicles
- ⅓ Cup of ground bits of cooked chicken
- ⅓ Low-sodium chicken stock
- 1 Tablespoons of water
- 20mg /2 droppers full of 300mg Pure Hemp Botanicals Pet CBD Oil
- Carrot sticks as the popsicle stick or use a popsicle mold
Recipe 2 Peanut Butter Pupsicles
- ⅓ Cup plain yogurt (I used greek since it was what I had on hand)
- ⅓ Cup water
- ⅓ Cup of all-natural peanut butter
- 20mg /2 droppers full of 300mg Pure Hemp Botanicals Pet CBD Oil
- Carrot sticks as the popsicle stick or use a popsicle mold
Directions:
- Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into small popsicle molds or large ice tray mold.
- Scrape the sides of the blender well to get all the goodness into the pupsicles.
- Stick a carrot stick in the center if you need.
- Set in the freezer for a couple of hours and serve when frozen.
Divide the number of pupsicles you made by the amount of milligrams of CBD oil added to each treat to determine the approximate amount of CBD per treat. You can alter the recipe if you want to add more or less Pet CBD oil depending on your dog’s size and wellness needs.
