Make your day brighter with this Mellow Mood CBD Mango Smoothie! We have really been enjoying naturally sweet and healthy homemade smoothies lately. It’s the perfect thing to whip up when you need to cool off in the heat, and stay on top of your health. There is no end to the flavor combinations and the nutritious boosts you can get in a smoothie by simply adding a handful of greens, nuts, seeds, berries, and CBD!
For this recipe we really wanted that delicious ripe mango flavor to dominate, so we kept it simple and used lots of mango! We also added Pure Balance CBD oil because it has so many daily benefits for mood, balance, muscle and joint support, and really helps soothe the nervous system. That is why this recipe is called “Mellow Mood CBD Mango Smoothie” and it sure does live up to that title!
More to Love about Mango
Mangoes are an incredible fruit. A cup of mango gives you just about 70% of the vitamin C you need daily. Vitamin C is good for lots of things like your immune system and for iron absorption, but there’s more! Research has found it also shortens the amount of time it takes you to adjust to hotter environments. Pretty cool, huh?
Eating mangoes also gives you a multitude of other vitamins like copper, B6, and folate just to mention a few. It is also incredibly beneficial for gut health as it stimulates digestion.
There is no formal recipe needed for this drink. Simply blend up these ingredients:
- 2 cups of frozen mango cubes in the blender (use fresh mangoes if you have them)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup of full fat coconut milk (canned)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 serving of Pure Balance CBD oil
Sip on for a mellow mood and a retreat from the heat!
You can also use this recipe as a base for a smoothie bowl and make it extra thick. We used full fat coconut milk in our recipe to support the deliverability of the CBD oil. The healthy fats help to maximize the benefits of CBD by increasing its bioavailability.
