Rosemary Mint Tea

This refreshing beverage is hydrating and stimulating for your brain and wellbeing. Rosemary is an astringent herb that stimulates the nervous system and promotes concentration. It increases blood flow to the brain and stimulates memory and cognitive function. Mint leaves have similar properties that have a “wake up” effect on neural networks and it also adds a refreshing flavor to the tea. This flavorful herbal drink is great for clearing brain fog and is so light and refreshing.

Ingredients:

  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • Lemon
  • Raw honey (optional)

Directions:

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to boil in a pot.
  2. Add rosemary and mint leaves and keep water boiling for 2–5 more minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, and let cool for 5–10 minutes.
  4. Add a squeeze of fresh lemon & honey to sweeten if desired.
  5. Once the tea reaches room temperature, transfer it to a pitcher.
  6. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Enjoy!

Peppermint Mate Hemp Tea

Yerba Mate makes a great naturally energizing beverage that helps stimulate the brain and is good for clearing brain fog. Hemptealicious Peppermint Mate Hemp tea is a lovely balancing tea with relaxing properties from hemp combined with the lively upbeat effects of Mate. Ingredients:

  • 2 tea bags of Hemptealicious Peppermint Mate Tea
  • 3 Cups of hot but not boiling water

Directions:

  1. Put 2 Hemptelicious Mate tea bags in a large jar and pour hot water over.
  2. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Let cool and pour in a splash of milk.

Ginger Lemon Cleansing Tonic

This spicy super cleanse beverage is made with fresh ginger, lemon, cayenne pepper and has a powerful clearing and energizing effect for your brain and body. This recipe makes a concentrate so you dilute it using a 1:3 ratio. One part ginger lemon tea and 2 parts water and drink for its powerful stimulating and detoxifying properties. 

Ingredients:

  • 3-Inch piece of fresh organic ginger root, minced
  • 6 cups of water
  • 1 lemon squeezed (just the juice)
  • 1 to 2 pinches cayenne pepper
  • Pinch of Himalayan rock salt
  • Raw honey or stevia to taste

Directions:

  1. Pour 6 cups of water and minced ginger in a pot.
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer for an hour and a half. 
  3. Let the liquid cool.
  4. Squeeze in the juice of one lemon. Add a few pinches of cayenne pepper and salt.
  5. Strain into a few mason jars and store in the fridge. 
  6. This recipe is a concentrate so dilute it before drinking. Use one part ginger tonic and 2 parts water and add some honey or stevia for taste.

Apple Cider Vinegar Ginger Tea

If you are feeling a little fatigued and drained, this apple cider vinegar tea tonic will wake up your brain and boost your immune system. Green tea has caffeine and antioxidants to stimulate your brain and apple cider vinegar has a balancing effect on blood sugar levels to help you maintain steady energy. This recipe is helpful for clearing brain fog and is great for your overall health.

Ingredients:

  • 1 green tea bag to make 1 cup of green tea
  • 1 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger minced
  • ¼ of a lemon

Directions:

  1. Brew a fresh cup of green tea and add minced ginger to the hot tea.
  2. Let the tea sit and cool.
  3. Add apple cider vinegar and maple syrup.
  4. Strain out ginger pieces and squeeze in some lemon.
  5. Sip down warm or cold.
