Unless you’re living under a rock you’ve probably heard about the decline in bees lately and how our gardening practices can help them. This year I made it my mission to be as bee-safe in my yard and garden as possible so I’ve been doing tons of research to try and find a way to keep my property looking clean but also safe for those happy little pollinators. When at all possible I try to make things at home, I prefer to know EXACTLY what’s going into what I’m using so I can feel completely comfortable with it.

One thing that I did find that it was truly safest for me to go old fashioned and pull weeds in my garden or yard itself. Most weed killers that aren’t chemical based could harm or damage the other plants or grass that I would like to keep nice, green and flourishing. But in places where I don’t want anything to grow this stuff works WONDERS!!

How to make it:

Mix 1 gallon of vinegar with 1 ounce of liquid dish soap. Spray the weeds on a sunny day and watch them die right in front of you!

We- are the only ones who can change things in this world. This small step can save countless bees! Marie Lamba used this same weed spray and has some amazing before and after pictures to show how wonderful and quickly it works. https://marielamba.wordpress.com/2017/04/22/be-green-green-bee-friendly-weed-spray/
